Power down

This happens so often...

Yesterday the power in the CS building went out and we had a blackout almost ALL day! This is a (beautiful/modern) new building designed along very modern techniques/architecture and has back up generators which are supposed to kick-in as soon as there is a power break-down. And while they are coming up there is a UPS system to hold things together in the meantime. However, it seems that the system works well except in case of an emergency (like yesterday).

I am not complaining tho coz we got a day off due to "unavoidable circumstances"...
